Privacy Policy
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit 100plugins.com or contact us through this website.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Daniel Schönherr, trading as 100plugins
Kolonnenstraße 8
10827 Berlin
Germany
Email: hello@100plugins.com
If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise your data-protection rights, please contact us using these details.
2. Website hosting and server logs
Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in Germany.
When you access this website, technical information is processed to deliver the requested content and maintain reliable, secure operation. This includes your IP address, the date and time of the request, requested pages or files, response status, transferred data volume, browser and operating-system information, and referring page where transmitted.
Hetzner states that IP addresses in its webhosting logs are anonymised. Ordinary website access and error logs are retained for seven days. Relevant records may be retained longer where necessary to investigate a specific security incident or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are providing a functioning website, diagnosing technical problems, and protecting the website against misuse.
Hetzner processes hosting data on our behalf. Further information is available in Hetzner’s data-protection documentation.
3. Contact form and email enquiries
When you contact us through our form, we process the information you provide. This may include:
First and last name
Company name
Email address
The product or service you are interested in
Your message and any additional information you provide
Submissions are stored in our WordPress database and delivered to us by email. If you contact us directly by email, we process your email address, message, and any attachments.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide requested information, and discuss or deliver our services. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Where your enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps requested before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in handling business communications.
Providing information is voluntary. However, we need sufficient contact details and information about your enquiry to respond. Fields marked as required must be completed to submit the form.
Retention: Contact-form submissions are deleted from the WordPress database after six months. Corresponding emails are retained separately for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and necessary follow-up. We delete them when these purposes no longer apply, unless statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims require longer storage.
Where retention is legally required, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Retention necessary for legal claims is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Email processing through Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace, including Gmail, to receive, store, and respond to business emails. Google therefore processes email content, sender and recipient details, attachments, and associated technical information on our behalf.
The purposes, legal bases, and retention criteria are those described in the contact section above.
Google and its subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google’s data-processing terms provide for applicable international-transfer safeguards, including European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Details of these safeguards are available in Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum. You can also contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
5. Privacy-friendly analytics with Plausible
We use the hosted service Plausible Analytics, provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, to understand how our website is used and improve its content.
Plausible records information such as visited pages, referral sources, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate geographic location. It does not use cookies, browser local storage, or persistent visitor identifiers.
IP addresses and browser information are processed temporarily to derive location and calculate daily visitor counts. According to Plausible, raw IP addresses and full user-agent strings are not stored. The salt used to generate daily identifiers is rotated and deleted every 24 hours. Aggregated statistics may be retained for longer-term website analysis.
We use standard analytics without custom events or personal information from contact forms. Plausible processes visitor analytics data within the European Union.
To the extent personal data is processed in producing these statistics, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is understanding overall website usage while limiting the impact on visitors’ privacy.
Further information: Plausible Analytics Data Policy.
6. Cookies and locally hosted content
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site marketing trackers. Plausible operates without analytics cookies.
Our website’s videos, fonts, and Rive animation resources are hosted locally. Displaying this content does not require loading those resources from external video, font, or animation providers.
7. Service providers and disclosure
We use hosting, analytics, and email service providers as described above. These providers process data as needed to deliver their services and may use authorised subprocessors.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data.
8. Backups
Our Hetzner Webhosting service includes backups retained for up to 14 days. Information deleted from the active website database may therefore remain temporarily in existing backups until they expire.
Backups are used for recovery and continuity of service. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in protecting against data loss and restoring the website following technical incidents.
9. External websites and product demos
This policy covers 100plugins.com.
Our website links to separate product websites, applications, and interactive demos. If you follow these links, the privacy information provided on the destination website applies to processing there.
Interactive product features, including photo uploads in Smilez demos, are not operated within this website.
10. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right to:
Obtain access to your personal data and information about its processing
Have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed
Request deletion of your personal data
Request restriction of processing
Receive applicable data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller
Right to object: Where we process personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop the processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or processing is necessary for legal claims.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact hello@100plugins.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the alleged infringement. Our local authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: complaint information.
11. Automated decisions
We do not use your personal data for decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services, or data-processing practices change. The current version is available on this page.
